Whee.....Back after quite a long while. Been VERY VERY busy these few days....Busy with what? Wushu training... Haha! Coz next tuesday the wushu team will be performing in East Coast Park. Its quite funny actually... We are having our cross country and chinese year celebration all in the same day. And at east coast park some more.... and I expected that the teachers would want us o perform LION DANCE, instead of wushu performances. Well nooooo, this year no lion dance performance, except during
Cai Qing, which is on 18th Feb, and coincidentally it is on the the same day as our college Values Day. And yea.... Valentine's Day, if I am not wrong. Sheesh, I got a feeling that this school runs on coincidence... Maybe some will call it destiny(Iam running out of point here...). Ok, back to our performance on next tuesday... We have been training real hard for it, we had training last thursday, yesterday, and again today. Have been sleeping late almost everyday. Tomorrow there will be training again, and on this coming thursday, friday and saturday. Sunday and Monday will be our only break from Wushu this week. =) If you ask me what we gonna perform, I can't tell you much, coz Shifu still has not taught us the whole thing yet, so I shall keep you guys in suspense *ooh, mysteries* I juz hope that the J2s will not think of wushu as a stereotype CCA that keeps sending its team out to perform
Ji Ben Quan. =S Well, I can assure everyone that this year our performances will be more exciting(I pray)... I hope this year, the J2s, as well as the J1s, will be impressed. Who knows, maybe even more people will join Wushu after that? Haha, endless possibilities. Ok, thats that.
Cai Qing will be on 18th feb... Roughly 2 more weeks to go. The J1 recruits are impressive... They managed to learn the cymbals and the beats in a short period of time, 3 weeks in all. Hm, overall I am satisfied la, considering how big the group is, around 18+ ppl. Luckily we had the seniors to help out. If not, I would probably be very helpless.... Coz my forte is nt in teaching large groups of people. =( Doesn't matter, the next next training will be used to revise through the whole lion dance sequence to prepare them for the
Cai Qing. I got a few of my old friends to come and help out if they could... Yep, my first 3 months wushu friends. Miss them alot. LOL! Some of them have experience in lion dance, I juz hope they have not forgotten. =)
Ok, time to review what has happened on last Sunday... Last sunday ROX! Well, my day actually startd off badly, I forgot to bring my wushu examination paper, and my belt. *boo* Luckily I could borrow my friend's belt. After the exam, Me, CQ, Alan, Nikki and Wenyong(WY) went to eat
Tim Sum in a chinese resturant at JE. The food isn't too bad, not since I were very hungry. Took some photos...Wait a minute... Only ONE photo was taken... *booooooo* Haha, nvm that. We went to play bowling and pool after eating, at Taman Jurong. Whee, so fun. My score for bowling impoved. From 68 to 70. =) as for pool, WY made me feel that I am not the worst pool player on Earth. *No offense* All in all, I enjoyed myself thoroughly on Sunday...I wish we could do it again some day.... Well, its getting late... I gonna sleep soon. Gotta make up for my loss sleep in the past few days... Gd night!
